Kate?Richmond, associate?professor?of?psychology?and?the?director?of?women’s?and?gender?studies?at Muhlenberg?College,?is?a?clinical?psychologist.?She?has?published?widely?in?the?areas?of?multicultural?psychology,?men?and?masculinity,?transgender?health,?feminism,?and?trauma.?She?has?received?multiple?awards?for?excellence?in?teaching,?including?the?Paul?C.?Empire?Memorial?Award?for?Excellence?in?Teaching,?and?has?given?talks?both?nationally?and?internationally.?In?addition?to?teaching,?she?maintains?a?private?practice?in?which?she?specializes?in?the?treatment?of?trauma?and?concerns?related to?gender.
